With three days into December I sit in front of my laptop, pour a beer, and take a trip down memory lane. A ton of solid beers were consumed over the month but these were my top five that left a special place in my heart for the month of November.

5. Juice Pack – Tupps Brewery (McKinney, TX.)
Juice Pack Pale Ale is a hazy and juicy beer coming in at 5.5% abv. I got a pour of this well in Denton Texas at The Bearded Monk. This beer really fixed my beer cravings at the first drink. Medium bodied with lovely mouthfeel and crushable. For a Pale Ale I was really impressed by the complexity especially a hazy style on at that.

4. Schmoojee: Raspberry Marshmallow Graham Cracker – Imprint Beer Co. (Hatfield, PA.)
If you know Imprint than you know their Schmoojee series is always a treat. These heavy fruited dessert themed sours look like Jamba Juice when poured. This one was fantastic. Tons of fresh tart raspberry, fluffy sweet mouthful from the marshmallow, and pie crust like notes from the graham racker made this beer liquid dessert.

3. Broccoli – Other Half Brewing (Washington, DC.)
Broccoli is a 7.9% Abv Imperial IPA with cascade, hallertau blanc, mosaic & simcoe. Now that this is being distributed I finally got my hands on it. This beer was dank, clean, amazing mouthfeel, complex, and so damn crushable I wish I had bought more.

2. Even More Hydra – Evil Twin collaboration with Mortalis Brewing Co. (Brooklyn, NY. & Avon, NY.)
Even More Hydra is a heavy fruited sour by the gypsy brewer himself Jeppe Jarnit-Bjergsø and well known fruited sour makers Mortalis. This 7% abv beer blends blackberry, raspberry, blueberry, and cacao nibs making one hell of a complex beer. All I say is sweet, rich, thick, balanced, fruity, tart, and a touch of chocolate bitterness on the finish.

1. Schmoojee Hydra A La Mode – Imprint Beer Co. & Mortalis Brewing Co. (Hatfield, PA. & Avon, NY.)
Hands down my favorite Imprint Fruited Sour from the Schmoojee series. Here is what in tales from this 6% abv beer; strawberry, coconut, pineapple and our favorite 100% real cream. Picture fresh melted strawberry ice cream with pineapple tartness, a touch of fresh sweet coconut, and a fluffy body. This beer is rich as hell and makes you savor each sip.
