Livermore California based brewery Altamont Beer Works is set to release their first ever Quadruple IPA, yes we said Quadruple IPA. The west coast brewery know for beers like Maui Maui IPA and Scarcity Triple IPA are set to release their first ever Quad IPA called White Hellaphant releasing this Friday 12/16. Here is what Altamont had to say via social media.
This boozy holiday quad is packed with tons of intriguing flavors and aromas from the Cashmere, El Dorado, Strata hops, and yeast strain. The hops give this beer an extreme citrus flavor with mild notes of honey suckle with mild spice and phenol character. Due to the yeast used the beer has a slight opaque appearance… don’t worry it’s not hazy. The Alcohol is hidden even though it clocks in at 13.5% abv.
