The year is coming to an end. Plenty of solid ales and suds were consumed but only one could be named beer of the month. With this being said here is my top beer I drank in December.

Out in the West Coast Russian River has Pliny the Elder, out in Texas hands down Yellow Rose IPA from Lone Pint Brewing Co. out of Magnolia, TX is the lone star states version. Yellow Rose IPA comes in at 6.8% abv and is a single malt and single hop IPA. Available year round this has to be one of the most consistent beers I’ve had out in Texas. I recently bought a six pack at a local beer shop and man was it fresh. Canned 3 days before I purchased it I was stoked. Here is why it is my top pick of December.
Yellow Rose pours semi cloudy golden body with a thick white head that maintains head retention. Amazing lacing around the glass after each drink. Aromas of clean hop notes of grapefruit rind and dank. A taste profile of grapefruit, pineapple, earthy bitterness that doesn’t linger but clean.
Hands down a crushable IPA making you want more after each glass.
