Santa Cruz, CA. is known for it’s boardwalk, beach, surfer laid back lifestyle but it’s also known for amazing coffee, food, and beer too. With this being said if you’re a beer drinker you obviously know about Humble Sea. Founded in 2015 by 3 Friends (Nick Pavlina, Taylor West, and Frank Scott Krueger) this brain child was Head Brewer and Co-Owner Nick Pavlina’s baby since 2009 when he was home brewing in his grandmother-in-laws farm in rural Ben Lamond before the breweries main location in the West Side of Santa Cruz.

Over the past 8 years the brewery has seen tons of success with the opening of Humble Sea Pacifica: Taproom & Kitchen, Humble Sea Tavern: Taproom, Cocktails, & Kitchen, Humble Sea: Wharf location on the Santa Cruz Wharf, and soon the opening of their East Bay location on the Alameda Point.

Here is what Humble Sea shared via email: “Our Alameda location is going to be the ultimate hub of good vibes and wild experiences. Picture a place where the beachy vibes meet the 90’s retro pool vibes, and where sipping on a cold beverage feels like teleporting to a tropical paradise. Yes, it’s going to be that rad!”.

Expect Humble Sea’s new location to open soon surrounded by the likes of Almanac Beer, Admiral Maltings, and Faction Brewing Co.
