They took to social media this week sharing the news on the release of their collaboration beer Coastal Cool IPA that releases this Friday. Coast Cool is clean, clear IPA brewed with a modern mix of hop products and a whole leaf centered on Simcoe.
About the beer
Inspired by our mutual love of Simcoe, this decidedly West Coast IPA showcases both Russian River and PintHouse selected lots of Simcoe. Built upon a clean canvas of premium Pilsner malts, Coastal Cool features a mix of Simcoe six ways selected from our friends Yakima Chief. Including T90 pellets, cyro hops, whole leaf, IQF “fresh frozen” whole cone, YCH 702 flowable extract.
Additions of Mosaic & Riwaka CGX meld with this melody of Simcoe hop products, creating layers of lupulin laden aromas and character reminiscent of resinous citrus, bright fruit with decidedly dank profile and snappy finish.
