San Francisco beer week takes place the week February 9th – 18th. Breweries through out the bay are set to drop some special beers in can and on tap for bottle shops to host some amazing events and beer stores to sell. With this being said local San Francisco brewery Laughing Monk sets to release two new beers and here is a look at what to expect.
A West Coast IPA coming in at 7% – In their search for the greatest hop combinations on earth, the monks were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn’t stop to think if they should. Well, they did, and Clever Girl West Coast IPA is a celebration of big, bold, hop character. Dry-hopped with Nelson, Riwaka Cryo®, Nelson Cryo®, Mosaic Hops, this beer is danker than a dead dinosaur.
A West Coast DIPA coming in at 8.5% – Your Hops. Give Them To Me. Now. Hopinator Double IPA has one mission: to protect you from boring Double IPAs, so you can tell them hasta la vista, baby! Dry-hopped with Simcoe Cryo®, HBC 586 Cryo®, and Simcoe Hops, this West Coast Double IPA is dank and hoppy with big notes of tropical, resinous stone fruit.
