The world of craft beer doesn’t stop breweries from stopping just at beer. Breweries have really took the term craft and furthered it with the products they are now releasing. Whether producing spirit lines to pizza companies breweries are also big on craft cocktails. It’s nothing new but it seems the industry is really pushing it more and more on us. I mean who doesn’t enjoy a crafty cocktail or tiki inspired drink? Hell, we do. But what are cocktails and what breweries are joining this movement or already been on it years ago.
A cocktail is a mixed drink, usually alcoholic. Most commonly, a cocktail is a combination of one or more spirits mixed with other ingredients, such as juices, flavored syrups, tonic water, shrubs, and bitters. Mixed drinks without alcohol that resemble cocktails can be known as “zero-proof” or “virgin” cocktails or “mocktails”. New Realm Brewing is a restaurant, brewery, and distillery in the states of Georgia, Virginia, and South Carolina.
Southern Tier Brewery also a Distillery is located out of New York but also has locations in Pennsylvania, and Ohio.
10 Barrel Brewing is located out of Oregon and has a few pubs in the state as while as one in Idaho.
Ninkasi Brewing Co. is located out of Oregon and is also a distillery and restaurant.
