True Anomaly located in Houston Texas took to social media sharing some sad news for local Houston beer drinkers and fans of its brewery. The Houston brewery stated

It is incredibly difficult to write this, but after an unforgettable run in East Downtown, the taproom will be closing its doors. Our final day is April 30th. When we opened True Anomaly, the dream was never just to start a brewery. We wanted to create a place where people could gather, share ideas, celebrate milestones, and build something together around great beer. Over the years, this taproom became exactly that. A meeting place for neighbors, artist, astronauts, dog lovers, first dates, birthday parties, and countless late nights that somehow turned into unforgettable memories.

Why the decision for this change you ask? While good point. True Anomaly stated that the neighborhood has changed over the years and fast. Over the past year they found themselves caught in the path of the I-45 expansion while also working on opening a second location nearby. Because of this construction delayed and the shifting timelines pushed the project back by a lot and eventually the project faded.

The final day for beer will be April 30th but they will celebrate live April 26th which is the anniversary of their grand opening. So be sure to stop by and show some love and share your memories.
